Attorney Shannon Alberts always had the desire to help other, even when she was younger. She frequently reflects on the time in high school when her mother would get their family together to volunteer and help the homeless shelters in the local area once a week. As the years went on, she still has the passion to help pick up those who may be at their lowest points. Shannon is dedicated to giving her clients her "A" game every single time as their family law attorney.
While growing up, she always knew she wanted to be someone that helps other in the future. As a young woman she was always interested in the law and viewed becoming a lawyer as a positive way to change a person's life for the better. When she was younger, Shannon originally had the idea of becoming a senator, but she decided to go down the path of law school. Her mother was the vice president of an insurance agency, so after law school Shannon went to work as an insurance defense lawyer. While working in that position, she didn't feel like she was helping others in an influential way, so she moved to family law.
This crucial choice to family law was a great way to directly impact her community in a positive way. While at law school at Marquette University, Shannon worked at the Family Law Forms Desk during her lunch break. At first, it felt like she was only assisting people in filling out paperwork, but she soon realized that this was a small way to help people make a huge change in their lives.
One word to describe Shannon would be passionate. Her ambition is to help people understand and maneuver the law and go towards a brighter future. By utilizing her prior work experience and the knowledge she has gained in her life, she gives a voice to her clients that might otherwise feel lost and overwhelmed. She is always looking for ways to better her clients' experience and works nonstop for others.
For her undergraduate, Shannon had graduated from with a degree in Politics from Carroll University. She then went to law school at Marquette University Law School. While in law school, she would frequently do pro bono work at the Milwaukee County Courthouse. During her undergrad, she met her husband and graduated law school despite having her first child between her first and second year.
Growing up in Illinois, she appreciates the pace of life in Wisconsin. She is a mother of two you children named Madeline and Macerick and loves to spend her time with them. Outside of the office, she enjoys going to the Black Sheep in Green Bay and having dinner with live music or spending the day at Bay Beach with her family. When traveling, she loves to visit wineries, beaches, and antique stores.
